Description
Ethyl tetradecanoate, also known as myristate ethyl ester or ethyl myristate, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as fatty acid esters. These are carboxylic ester derivatives of a fatty acid. Ethyl tetradecanoate is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble in water, and relatively neutral.
